i n v e r s e p y r a m i d – a social networking experiment

In a bid to study behavioral economics, social networking, and game theory, DARPA  offered prize money to anyone who found 10 weather balloons located around the country.

The aim of the network challenge was to explore the unprecedented ability of the Internet to bring people together to solve tough problems and to mark the Internet’s 40th birthday.

Also to exhibit how the Internet has become an integral part of society and the global economy over the years.

3d human form from 2d manipulations

I was looking around a while ago for a speech class and found this guy who has worked on sacred geometry. I think its a good example of what can be done with the right tools and enough creative ingenuity. The idea is like that of the 3d puzzles that used to printed in the papers near the comics section. When you cross your eyes an alien looking form emerges. He uses refective spheres arranged in the “flower of life pattern” and places a light source at the center to gain the effect. The explanation is found thru the link below.
