When we discussed digital molecular matter in class, I found a website that had apps for the iPhone or iPad that used the this technology. In these apps, you can bend, twist, and shatter objects based on their materiality, control how they are effected by gravity and export what you do as a video to upload to YouTube. I had no idea this technology was so readily available.
social media…for positive or negative? cause for shallow relationships??…will it result in people having mere acquaintances or real friends?
As convenience increases, is solitude on the increase as well?
Technology is shrinking our physical social interactions and turning them into passive communications and transactions via netwroked technologies.
Checkout what Apple has on mind.
Steve Job wrote a letter explaining the reasons that Apple does not have flash on the iPhone, iPod, and iPad. Seeing that flash has been so prevalent it is really odd to see one of the major computer companies so against it.
Apparently Apple and their secrecy over products sorta failed when one of their workers left a next-generation iPhone in a bar. They have pictures and have verified it is real because Apple has specifically asked for it back as lost property.
Adobe released an official statement against Apple and other manufacturers refusing to allow flash on their devices. The lack of flash is one of the greatest problems with the Apple products in my opinion but it is based in an Apple decision to make as much money as possible.
