This is a totally random but fun site that takes websites and makes them look like the good old days of Geocities.
It is nice to be able to go back and enjoy the flashing icons and random tiled wallpapers. Try some sites out, I especially liked Google and seeing easily the most constrained page on the web taken and Geocities-ized.
Apparently Apple and their secrecy over products sorta failed when one of their workers left a next-generation iPhone in a bar. They have pictures and have verified it is real because Apple has specifically asked for it back as lost property.
A little rough around the edges and I don’t know about wearing this thing around my neck but I’m sure in time it will be as small as a button. It’s really commendable that he would open source this technology, however, I think that is only because he knows people won’t go out there and build this thing. Once this thing is being manufactured by a big company and it is the size of a button it will cost an arm and a leg.
These are some interesting new technologies. The first two are basically large Iphones or Ipads, but the third video shows something that might be possible to make on our own. I would imagine you only need some arduinos, motion sensors, and minor programming and you are on your way.
Be careful, this can be quite addictive. I am actually considering purchasing this.
This is really incredible. Google earth goes from out to in, where this seems to go from in to out. I wonder if there are plans to combine the two.
